I was born and raised in Malaysia, where the air smells like durian and street food, and life moves at a warm, unhurried pace. Travel wasn’t just a hobby for me — it was how I saw the world. Even as a kid, I loved wandering, exploring, and soaking in every little moment that felt real, not scripted.
Life took me to Singapore, and that’s where I met my wife — the person who would become my travel partner, my best adventure buddy, and my co-pilot in everything. Together, we fell in love with chasing moments, not checklists.
Then we made the biggest leap of all: we moved back to China — her hometown, the famous hotpot city. A place full of warmth, spice, soul, and the kind of culture that makes you fall in love with travel all over again.
Over the years, we’ve seen it all: the busy group tours, the rushed itineraries, the “must-take photos” that leave you feeling like you didn’t really experience the place. We also know many travelers still love the ease and fun of group tours — and that’s why we still offer them.
But we wanted more.
